Studying Chinese, Watching Japanese, Listening to Korean

Posted on January 8, 2011

I don’t understand myself either. Every evening, I review my Chinese language textbook so that I won’t forget what little I’ve learned from my classes. But I don’t practice my comprehension nor any other language skill. Instead, I watch Japanese drama and anime and listen to Korean boy bands and girl groups everyday,  both of which make me feel used to hearing these languages more than the language I actually paid good money to study. In truth, I’d like to be fluent in all these three languages. I just love, love, love everything about East Asia.
